“To love a painting is to feel that this presence is… not an object but a voice”. -Andre Malraux
This feels so true to my own experience of collecting art. The way that a piece can move me so much that it becomes self biographical. When I am struck and fixed in place by a work of art, and my breath shallows… Words slip away and another language ensues. It suspends time, and I’m drawn into that slow still healing place. Its a meditation.
It is there that the painting becomes the voice.
If a piece of my work speaks your language… or tells a story of someone you love.. I’d like nothing more for it to hang in your space or theirs.
I hope this Winter ART Print Sale inspires some happy collecting!
